The Offline Installer is 131 MB in size.I'd be very interested indeed as I'm really used to WMM which is still on my old Win 7 as it's so simple and quick. Last year I had Windows Essentials 2012 offline installer downloaded and saved for rainy days before MS discontinued the support. Provided, of course, I am allowed to do so.
#WINDOWS MOVIEMAKER FORUMS HOW TO#
If someone can teach me how to upload the installer to this forum, I am more than happy to do so. I used the offline installer and had my WLM, Movie Maker and Photo Gallery reinstalled without a hiccup. Yesterday, what a coincidence, I reinstalled Win 10 into a Win 7 computer which was reset to Factory Settings.(I was planning to sell it but changed my mind.) year I had Windows Essentials 2012 offline installer downloaded and saved for rainy days before MS discontinued the support. Virtual Dub is the closest but don't want to download the codec required as there's some sort of warning saying it could risk the Registry.

I know it was designed for Win 7 but in the link below it says suitable for Win 10 but having tried all I know for some reason I still can't get it to work at all. Does anyone use or has used Windows Movie Maker which is a great little video editing programme ?
